The CCH Regional Law Firm of the Year Award recognises the diversity of New Zealand’s legal market in the provinces. This Award recognises those firms whose achievements, due to their size or location, have gone largely unnoticed. This category is not open to firms operating in the central business districts of Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch or Dunedin.

The winning firm or relevant regional office (not based in the central business districts of Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch or Dunedin) will likely have and be regarded by its clients as having demonstrated excellence in its relations with clients in the provision of legal services and advice, potentially across a broad range of legal issues within their region.

The winning firm will likely have a reputation for integrity and professionalism in their dealings with clients including, community organisations, non-governmental and/or not-for-profit organisations and small to medium sized businesses in the region in which they serve.
